Abstract

Public administration – citizens relationships take place within and are fundamentally influenced by legal norms which are applied by the public administration with regard to citizens, thus conducting administrative procedures. Currently, there is a major interest at global level for implementing measures that will result in increased citizen satisfaction and improvement in the quality of the relationship between citizens and public institutions and authorities, such as better regulation or simplification of administrative procedures. The legal framework for obtaining Romanian citizenship has undergone numerous modifications, the effects being, in some regards, negative.
