Interferențele conceptuale ale profesiilor de mediator existente în administrația publică cu profesia de mediator reglementată de legea nr. 192/2006. Posibile consecințe și propuneri

Emilia Lucia CĂTANĂ

Abstract

The study researches the existing mediator professions in public administration (sanitary mediator, school mediator, social mediator) by means of comparative analysis with the mediator profession regulated by Law no. 192/2006 regarding mediation and the organization of the mediator profession. The conclusions of the study show that these terminological overlaps can cause confusion and reluctance among local public authorities and citizens to opt for mediation as an effective instrument to alternatively solve disputes in the administrative field. The author also makes a proposal for the Romanian legislature to remedy the terminological overlaps that are the subject of this study.
