Abstract

The purpose of this work is to show the importance of action for the infringement procedure by the Member States of their obligations under Community law to timely and correct application of Community law, presenting the situation of Romania in general, in the cases of infringement, and in particular the environment, given that, as of January 1, 2007, our country is member of European Union with full rights and obligations. To this end, we paid particular attention to nonadversarial proceedings, preliminary in resolving a high percentage of cases of infringement and, again in its place and defining the subject of future action brought before the Court of Justice, highlighting certain situations in the field of environment.
