Soluționarea conflictelor prin mediere - Scurtă analiză a situației din România

Christian Radu CHEREJI, Ciprian TANUL

Abstract

Alternative dispute resolution methods (ADR), although more than two decades old in northern-american and westerneuropean legal systems, are almost unknown in Romania. Only arbitration in comercial matters and mediation of labor conflicts are regulated by law and practice. The present article describes the efforts made by lawmakers to pass a bill of mediation as a non -judiciary method of conflict resolution, and offers an insight view on main aspects contained in the last project discussed these days in the Parliament.
