Abstract

In the field of education and professional training, Romania proved its institutional capacity to provide sustainable partnerships for the EU initiatives in this area. Romanian legislation on education is in line with all EU decisions, e.g. on equal opportunities for all, mobility in higher education, the European dimension, policy of non discrimination, life long learning etc. There is a continuous need to promote policies and strategies concerning the continuing vocational training, to provide relevant information and to facilitate the access of the interested public to data about training opportunities. Is Romania able to face the challenges of the European Union in the field of professional insertion and training?
